Winter is coming Off the Grid, and we had to button up the cabin drafts and install our new WOOD STOVE! We have been dreaming about this for so long and it finally happened, and we did it ourselves! Not without some challenges but we toughed it out, figured it out, and thrilled to have our little cabin toasty warm and cozy for the coming weather! We even had to weather a minus 14 night as it took an extra day to finish! We got it all done in 3 days! If you put your mind to it, you can do anything :)

The off-grid-to-do-list keeps growing and the snow is upon us...looking forward to expanding our 500SF little "park model" Cabin, (or sometimes affectionately called the GRL or Grizzly Ridge Lodge) .....and a mud room is a must! It has been raining for 2 days! & we have mud lol. Didnt stop us from getting more chores done, and even found time for a little hunt...Grizz is always hunting even when we take a break lol. We were blessed with some 20 degree weather one day and we were surprised by what was still in our garden! and totally edible :)
