It's hard to believe, but we finally finished up the van floor in episode 10! Since I plan to use the van for camping and as a mobile workshop, it was all about building the most sturdy and versatile floor possible!

📋 Today's TODO List: For the construction of the flooring panel I'm using laminated birch plywood (phenolic faced), due to its incredible strength and durability, especially regarding the elements it will be exposed to. First I insulated and carpeted the battery compartment which turned out to be quite tricky... Getting the van floor insulated with all the low-/highspots was also a bit complicated. I opted for two layers of 10mm and 19mm of Kflex/Armaflex rubber insulation to even everything out. Now most of the van floor has 29mm of insulation which should be plenty! Since I'll build all the camping furniture to be removable and plan to use the van as a mobile workshop I fitted some aluminum airline rails/tracks that I can use to secure loads in the future.
