KAWASAKI KLX 230SM 2025 SUPERMOTO

The aggressive supermoto-inspired bodywork, finishes, and components on the KLX 230 SM supermoto motorcycle deliver performance and attitude.

The KLX 230 SM ABS features a low 33.0-inch seat height which allows riders to comfortably reach the ground at stops for increased confidence. A new thicker seat improves rider comfort and helps with soaking up bumps on uneven pavement, making sport riding and everyday journeys more enjoyable.

The new LED headlight cowl and sporty front fender add to the already aggressive supermoto image, while the frame was designed to give riders an easier grip for improved chassis control. Seams between the newly designed shrouds, side panels and seat are flush, which helps improve freedom of movement when changing riding positions.


From the cockpit, an all-digital instrument panel offers at-a-glance information thanks to a large, easy-to-read LCD display screen. The KLX 230 SM now features smartphone connectivity via rideology THE App* which connects you with your bike like never before.

Smartphone connectivity enables riders to access instrument functions like vehicle info, riding log, phone notifications, and general settings for an enhanced riding experience.

The KLX 230 SM supermoto motorcycle is powered by a 233cc, fuel-injected, air-cooled engine. Experience a fun and exciting spread of power tuned for low- to mid-range acceleration.

The KLX 230 SM supermoto motorcycle is built with a compact and purpose-built chassis that contributes to lightweight and highly-maneuverable handling.

Suspension performance offers 7.4-inches of travel up front and 8.7-inches in the rear, while a 37mm inverted telescopic front fork contributes to supermoto styling as well as front-end rigidity. The Uni-Trak® rear suspension provides great bump absorption and a new lightweight, aluminum swingarm helps keep the bike light for improved handling.
