Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganapati Uttsav in Pune isn’t just about devotion, it holds such a deep place in our history. It is the first Sarvanjanik Ganesh Uttsav.
During the British rule and the surgence of the revolutionaries, the British imposed a ban on public meetings, but that didnt deter Bhausaheb to strategise plans for the freedom struggle. He started the festivities of the "sarvajanik" (public) ganpati mahautsav, a reason for the indians to come together.

Standing there, I marvelled the blend of faith and freedom… how the divinity became a symbol of courage and unity. Ganpati Bappa Morya!!💫
The place where Bhausaheb used for the meetings now has been restored and the historical place is open to public.
