Guess what this pot is used for? Making large earthenware pot in my home studio.

In today's video, I’m going to show you how to recycle clay and use it to make two large ceramic pots. As for what they are used for, you can guess for now; I'll reveal it in the next video.

The clay was left by a friend of mine a few years ago. I’m glad I could use it to make some large pottery this time. I do not know the reason, but every spring and summer, I have a strong urge to work with red earthenware clay. It feels so satisfying to knead the clay during the season of growing and flourishing, as if time remains eternal in such seasons. In this video, there are occasional interruptions from my kids who enter the studio and want to try out what their mom is working on. Although I have to emphasize the discipline of the ceramic studio every now and then and clear the scene when it becomes unmanageable, I still enjoy having my children accompany me while working. Clay, spring, childhood, family; these are the themes of this video.
