The Canine Condition Documentary Series S1 Ep.4 Upstate N.Y. Rescued Paws Healing Human Hearts

Описание к видео The Canine Condition Documentary Series S1 Ep.4 Upstate N.Y. Rescued Paws Healing Human Hearts

Retired New York law enforcement officer Juli Lathrop saves shelter dogs from death row in upstate N.Y. through her non profit rescue organization The Kramer Foundation. Juli trains these innocent, resilient dogs to become service dogs, military vet companions, search and rescue dogs for K9 Units and family therapy dogs. She takes the help a step further and works with at risk youth by teaching the kids to train and properly care for our canine companions. The human canine bond keeps these youngsters out of trouble and allows them to build self-confidence and self-discipline. While visiting with Juli, we meet and hear the stories of rescued dogs Lucy and Rambler and we get an update on Mia, a sweet dog we helped save from a rural Georgia shelter. These 3 lovable souls are only 3 of over 1000 dogs that have a new leash on life thanks to Juli and The Kramer Foundation.

This documentary series highlights the amazing, grass-roots work that people are doing to save and improve the lives of dogs in need all over this country. Through their stories and actions, we will show you what change looks like and what the sheer power of will and desire – not just money – can achieve. Throughout the season you see us take part in the actions that are saving dog lives. We volunteer, donate, foster, transport and advocate for new legislation. Every episode will leave the viewer feeling hopeful, inspired, educated and empowered. This is how we affect positive change and create the tipping point in our society: one story at a time.
