Florida's Unique Streamliner - The City of Miami Story

A train from Chicago to Florida has been desired for years, but between the 1930s and the 1970s, there were many trains you could get from either destination. All of these trains competed for the fastest time to Florida. One of these trains was the incredibly unique "City of Miami" operated by the famous Illinois Central railroad. The City of Miami was definitely a step away from what any railroad is used to, especially in the Streamlining universe. It really was unique in a lot of different ways - from having its own paint scheme completely separate from the norm, having an incredibly complicated route, and overall just being an incredibly popular train among travelers.
