I hit this place every which way to Sunday

Metal detecting and relic hunting the old cellar hole out in the woods today I knew it was not going to be easy to find stuff. I had worked this site last year and found some great artifacts so I knew what I was up against. With my Fisher F19 I walked around and around the cellar hole and then did it again several times in all metal mode....Nothing. I then dug into the chimney stack to see if I could find anything and nothing. I did get to explore a bit more of the old farm way up out back and walked along the rock walls of this huge place and contemplated why did they not build up here where it is pretty nice land. A day out in the woods of New England and metal detecting old places always makes for a great day if you find stuff or not.
