While my 6800xt gpu and Ryzen 7 5800x cpu weren't pushovers for gaming. They were struggling to keep up with the additional streaming load. The pc sounded like it was about to launch into orbit and the heating to match.
So avoiding the complete overhaul, stayed with the am4 socket and found the 16core ryzen 9 5950x. A multitasking beast that I'll never push to full tilt.
And then enter the new nvidia 5070ti OC. Wasn't my original plan to jump into the new models, but the costs and availability of GPUs are nuts all over again. I wasn't willing to deal with AMDs encoding woes again either. So I jumped on board when I saw this Asus Prime 5070ti OC was available, and wow, what a difference. I still have yet to optimize Halo Infinite and was still pushing 500 frames on 1440p WHILE keeping temps around 55°c. That is just bonkers coming from the 6800xt. Anyways, now I can have quality streams on TTV as well!
