Once each winter, when the moon rose full and white above the ancient pines, the werewolf pack gathered in the heart of the forest. The snow fell softly, untouched except by pawprints leading toward a glowing clearing where lantern light warmed the night.

Elders and young adults stood together, warriors beside healers, sisters beside brothers. The females of the pack wore winter cloaks stitched with old symbols, while the males carried lanterns and gifts, their breath fogging in the cold air. At the center stood a great evergreen, decorated with ornaments crafted over generations—crystals, carved bone, and shining lights that reflected the moon’s glow.

As the fire was lit, laughter echoed through the trees. Stories of past winters were shared, of lost kin remembered, and battles survived. Cups were raised in silent honor, for even in joy the pack never forgot where they came from.

When the moon reached its highest point, the Alpha lifted his head, and one by one the pack joined him. Their howls rose together—strong, proud, and full of warmth. It was not a cry of dominance, but of unity. A song for the living, the fallen, and those yet to join the pack.

On this night, no wolf stood alone.
The cold could not touch them.
The darkness could not claim them.

For under the moon and the lights of Christmas, the pack remembered who they were—family, bound by fur, fate, and unbreakable bonds.
