Souls of the Vermilion Sea trailer English

Director, producer, and biologist Sean Bogle has been the director of Wild Lens’ documentary web series, Eyes on Conservation for the past two years, and Souls of the Vermilion Sea will be his first feature length film. With almost a decade of experience in marine mammal conservation, Sean was drawn into the story of the vaquita after being approached in his role with the Eyes on Conservation series about producing a short video about the recovery effort. After months of research and outreach, it became clear that this story required a longer-form approach, and Souls of the Vermilion Sea was born.

Souls of the Vermilion Sea has screened at the cultural arts center in San Felipe, Mexico for the general public and local fishermen. The film all screened in San Felipe local schools for hundreds of students.
