This is a special presentation, in commemoration of the 83rd Anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, telling the story of the battleship USS West Virginia (BB-48) and two local residents who served on her: Albert (Pete) Peterson and Donald Seibold. Pete was on the battleship when it was sunk at Pearl Harbor. Don joined the ship for its return to service in the Battle of Leyte Gulf (Philippines), continuing until the end of the war. Daughters of both seamen join the talk to about their fathers' experiences.
