The kingdom setup
Hebrews 12: 7-11
In many instances, the people who lack honor are quick to leave when things are not going their way.
Their response to rebukes and being disciplined is to leave.
Honor is a principle, and it must remain despite what might be happening.
We don't only honor people when they are doing what we want them to do, but we must still honor them when they they discipline us.
A father disciplines those whom He loves.
The people that God has placed us under are an extension of God, they guide and lead us in alignment with the ways of God
Matthew 13: 53-58
The people just saw a carpenter's son and failed to recognize the authority of Jesus and as a result of that, they failed to honor Him.
Many of us have failed to recieve blessings from people because we looked at their outward positions, failed to recognize what they carry or who they are and we were quick to dismiss them.
These people grew too familiar with Jesus, they knew His mother and siblings, and their familiarity with Him caused them to miss out on the blessings He had for them.
Whomever God has placed as an authority figure over your life is worthy of honor, irregardless of their background .
We must never get too familiar with people God has given leadership roles over our lives

John 4: 10
The only thing this woman saw was an ordinary Jewish man, she failed to recognize the authority and the rank of the person she was speaking to.
She failed to recognize the Lordship of Jesus.
Do you really know the people that God has placed in authority of your life? Your failure to recognize who they are is the reason you fail obtain the blessings that they can give you.
Had the woman been able to recognize who Christ is, she would've recieved water that gives eternal life.
In the kingdom of God there are principles and we ought to walk in line with those principles. Sometimes we struggle, not because we don't pray, but because we fail to follow the principles set in place.
