KP Astrology is a technique developed by professor krishnamurti for Prediction in astrology. Professor KS murthy is a renowned astrologer of south India. He studied Hindu predictive astrology especially Nadi Astrology and Western Astrology and developed a new technique of predictions in astrology which is presently known as Krishnamurthy Paddhati
KP astrology is based on Vimshotri dasha system ( 120 years) of Vedic Astrology. Moon Dasha is used in Vedic astrology but in KP astrology we calculate Dasha for every planet and house. The promise of an event and timing of an event can be calculated with full accuracy using KP astrology technique. The calculations in KP astrology are also based on 12 zodiac signs. The entire universe is divided into 12 equal zodiac signs of 30 degree each. Also the whole zodiac is divided into 27 equal parts of 13 degrees 20 minutes each called constellations or Nakshtras. The first constellation or Nakshtras ie Ashwani starts with 0 degree Zodiac which is coincides with 0 degree Aries. In KP astrology we use placidus house division and subdivision of Nakshtras while in astrology we use different chart like Lagna Chart, D7 Chart D10 Chart. In Vedic Astrology we use 12 houses of equal division of 30 degree each but in placidus system of house division all the 12 house may or may not be of equal length. In some cases the house may be of more than 30 degree and in some cases it may be of less than 30 degree. In some cases there are probability of houses in the single zodiac sign and even in some sign there may not have any house.
