Welcome to my January Favourites 2026, featuring an exclusive behind-the-scenes review that genuinely shocked me!

This month kicks off with a special preview event at my favourite Liverpool bar, Sister Ray, for the launch of Johnnie Walker Black Ruby. As someone who has never been a scotch whisky drinker, I went in unsure – and left completely surprised after actually enjoying whisky neat for the first time ever. Even better, I was gifted a personalised bottle with my name on it – talk about a pinch-me moment! Also now adding “Scotch drinker” to my CV ✍️

In this vlog you’ll see event highlights, tasting notes, cocktail previews, and my honest next-day reaction to the experience. I also share lifestyle favourites from January including coming out of hibernation for 92° Coffee Liverpool, the best vanilla latte in the city (which has been getting me through winter), plus highlights from Liverpool and Manchester.
