Pot roast recipe
-3lbs Boneless Chuck Roast
-Cream of mushroom(see recipe below or use 1 can)
-2 Carrots chopped
-1 shallot minced
-2 small bay leaves
-1 small yellow onion chopped
-4oz sun-dried tomatoes
-1/2 to 1 full packet of ranch salad dressing seasoning mix
-1/2C of beef stock (you might need more depending on the size of your roast)
-1/2 of red wine

Cream of Mushroom
-2 Tablespoons butter
-portobello mushrooms
-1 Tablespoon Worcester sauce
-3 cloves minced garlic
-1 cup stock
-1/2 cup cream
-1/2 cup parmesan

1. Season meat with salt and pepper, then sear in hot pan with olive oil.
2. Transfer meat to slow cooker.
3. Sauté mushrooms, and shallots in the pan with butter. Add Worcestershire and garlic. Deglaze with beef broth.
4. Add cream, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and parsley. Let it thicken for about 5 minutes.
5. Pour mushroom sauce into slow cooker with carrots, sun-dried tomatoes, onions, wine, beef broth, bay leaves, ranch packet(add less if you want it low in salt)
6. Taste sauce after 2 for salt or extra ranch
7. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
8. Add more broth if sauce thickens too much.
9. Serve over mashed potatoes and enjoy!


Candied jalapeño and cheddar cornbread
-2 boxes of jiffy cornbread mixture (plus ingredients on the box)
-1/2 stick of melted butter
-1/2 cup sour cream
-1/2 cup cheddar cheese
-2 Tablespoon chopped jalapeños
-1 can creamer corn

Preheat the oven at 400°F in a bowl, make your jiffy cornbread mixture, the way it calls for in the back of the box . Then add the butter melted butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese, jalapeños and cream corn. Mix really well. Grease your baking dish before pouring your mixture & bake for 45-50 minutes or until top is golden. #christmasdecor #cookwithme #cleanwithme
