I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire;” Daniel‬ ‭7‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Heaven has a Judicial system and therein a lot of vetting/approvals are done before one is entrusted. In other words, Heaven is watching and vetting.

The acquisition of certain ranks and things is simply because we have prevailed. It’s a sign that we have passed tests of patience, waiting in order to be awarded.

Consider Jesus, God exalted His name above every other name because He had a history of prevailing and only He was found worthy to open the scroll. (Rev 5:5)

Waiting involves pain but we ought to be hopeful/tarry through it all.

Painful as this may seem but certain things that we are waiting for may not occur through us but, as the seed, we are simply laying a foundation for our offsprings.

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.” Habakkuk‬ ‭2‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Waiting begins with a Promise. It begins with a Word from God which ought to be contended for.

That said, the enemy will always want to suggest shortcuts/counterfeits which we need to watch out for.

In seasons of waiting, focus on these as we wait on God.
1) Stay with Jesus. (Psalms 23:4)
2) Continually water the vision in prayer (Psalms 119:49)
3) Learn to endure and ask for the grace to do so. (James 5:7-11)
4) Maintain a thanksgiving attitude. (Habakkuk 3:17)

Do not cast away your confidence which has a great reward. We are not they that draw back but they that endure. (Hebrews 10:35)
