Together (Eagle Rock Ministries and you!) we have accomplished quite a bit...2014 - Original Vocational School, Kampala Uganda - where students (orphans) learn usable skills: hand-held), computer training, hair styling, sewingcarpentry (basic2018 - Carpentry division of Vocational School, moved to the nearby Highway, expanded to electric tools, welding and metal work, Making and selling large furniture, metal doors and entrance gates2019 - Water Well drilled in El Refugio, Guatemala2019 - Funded a Rain Catching System for a Village in Uganda2020 - Replaced roof on school, El Refugio, Guatemala2020 - Water Well drilled in Mumbwa Zambia2020 - Started construction of High School in Mwachisompola Zambia2020 - Water Well drilled in Kinyambogo Uganda2020 - Started construction of Boarding House for Street Women, Kampala Uganda2020-2021 - Pandemic - our funds fed the people in the village of the Vocational School, Kampala, Uganda since they were not allowed to work2021 - Boarding House in Kampala, Uganda - construction completed, few families starting to move inEagle Rock Ministry in Kampala Uganda, Africa; 2022The Women's Boarding House shelters "street women" so they can attend our Vocational School to learn a skill which will enable them to get off the streets and earn a living to support themselves and their children;* The Boarding Home holds 40 (there are 30 currently) residents, which consist mainly of single women with no family and women who have children. One particular instance, the family; husband, wife and children, the husband was an alcoholic, we have been successful with his rehabilitation and both he and his wife are attending our Vocational School! ,We had a very large poled electrical box and wiring installed so the home has electricity.*furnished the home,*Your contribution feeds these families multiple times daily and pays for the staff salaries and all other living and operating expenses.*Continued support of St. Ameria Vocational School:*We continue to be able to teach the skills of Carpentry, Computer Skills, Hair Stylists and Sewing. Our Carpentry division has expanded to Welding and Metal Work, making large metal security doors (they are used for all exterior house doors and security fence entrance doors around the properties) and also large pieces of furniture, from dressers to beds. They have greatly expanded and moved this division to the side of the highway to sell their products to help support and grow the school,*We pay all staff salaries, supplies, all operating costs, and feed our students and staff daily.*St. America also feeds local families that are unable to support themselves due to hardships, age and disabilities.Eagle Rock Ministry in Refugio, Zambia, Africa;*Huge progress on the construction of our High School in the remote farming village of Refugio!* We funded the drilling of a Water Well, but did not strike water, plans were slowed with limited resources to make bricks and cement,* We drilled again and struck water and the bricks were built, cement made, walls went up, and the floors poured,* this High School will have 250 students,*AND since there is no transportation and students will live up to 100 miles away, there will be 250 dormitories to house the students.*Currently we are constructing the roof on the School!!! The roof is expensive, with raising costs. The materials are not made from their local resources. Roof material delivery uses huge trucks on horrible, cratered roads for hours that shatter your teeth and jar your whole body. In addition the gas prices are quadruple to ours. This milestone is massive and honestly, I didn't know how it was possibly going to happen... But it is! THANK YOU!!
