“當我們失去生活中一個重要的人時，總是會感到孤獨和難過，即使時間流逝記憶已漸模糊，仍能感受到伊人存在。透過泛黃的老照片，追憶伊人往日笑容已然成了習慣，相信彼端的伊人也看得見我對他的思念。” 這就是日本歌手夏川里美在2001年所唱紅的歌曲《淚光閃閃》(涙そうそう)的大概內容。

西元1998年日本歌手森山良子和沖繩的Begin樂隊相遇，他們於是決定合作創作一首曲子。Begin將標題(涙そうそう)的示範帶交給了良子，良子看了標題聽了旋律後不禁想起了早逝的哥哥，伴隨著音樂這首《淚光閃閃》的歌詞就這樣產生了。

這首歌歌詞華文的意思大概如下：

翻著泛黃老相冊，輕聲呢喃說謝謝！
伊人直在我心底，鼓勵我的人兒呀！
不論晴天或下雨，總會浮現你笑容。
即使記憶漸遠離，依然尋覓你踪跡，
每當想起總讓我淚光閃閃。

面對著星星祈願，已是我每日課題。
黃昏時仰望天空，尋覓著你的踪跡，
不論悲傷亦或歡喜，你笑容總浮現我心裡，

"When we lose an important person in our lives, we always feel lonely and sad. Even as time passes and memories fade, we can still feel their presence. Through the yellowed old photographs, reminiscing about their past smiles has become a habit. I believe that the person on the other side can also see my longing for them." This is the general content of the song "Namida-sou-sou" (Tears Flowing) sung by Japanese singer Rimi Natsukawa in 2001.

In 1998, Japanese singer Ryoko Moriyama and the band Begin from Okinawa met, and they decided to collaborate on a song. Begin presented Moriyama with a demo tape titled "Namida-sou-sou." Upon seeing the title and listening to the melody, Moriyama couldn't help but recall her late brother. With the music, the lyrics of "Namida-sou-sou" were born.

The lyrics of this song can be roughly translated as follows:
"Some days when the sun shines some days when it rains.
Every time I think about you down come my tears.

Just looking over some old photographs.
Some silly moments made me want to laugh.
One day I saw you the next day you were gone.
My world just crumbled I felt so alone.
