Описание к видео Bach - Allein Gott in der Höh sei Ehr BWV 663 - Smits | Netherlands Bach Society

Reitze Smits performs 'Allein Gott in der Höh sei Ehr' for All of Bach. This piece is part of three connected yet very different movements in the Leipziger Choräle, in which Bach portrays the Trinity. His central arrangement of the Gloria melody, which was sung every week, portrays the Son, following the Father (BWV 662) and preceding the Holy Ghost (BWV 664).

Recorded for the project All of Bach on November 29th 2013 at the Lutheran Church, The Hague. If you want to help us complete All of Bach, please subscribe to our channel http://bit.ly/2vhCeFB and consider donating http://bit.ly/2uZuMj5.
