(XCXWiiU-027) Man makes some progress in sidequests in Xenoblade X

The remaining requirement to unlock chapter 8 is to reach level 30, I thought to speed things up i'd make progress on some sidequests. Unfortunately I prematurely give up on some of them due to having trouble finding the required items "blind". However I will note what progress was made:
-Completed Tutura's sidequest of using the pre-release Diamond Twins weapon on quick evellos, followed by using the Hyde Dyads weapon on walkin auravises, both in Primordia. The second one's location was close to a new region: Sylvalum, and I make contact with the new place before returning to the Armory Alley (complete)
-Continued Victoria's quest and asked Ma-nons Ververta, Aalis and Vyponne for their measurements, then needed 5 pieces of leather from Lepyxes (had 4 needed 1 more). Ma-non compatible clothes are made but Panyar finds them uncomfortable, Victoria suggests they make perfume instead and tells us to get 3 sona herbs in Primordia (incomplete)
-Started new quest where store owner Alexa discriminated Ma-non Wersal and asked us to get help from the maintenance center. (incomplete)
-Continued Chiopitus emotion research quest. Successfully slayed rowdy potamus putting Christopher at ease, then we went to Pauline who is sad her friend Bobby died, we go get his discarded watch in Oblivia's Devil's Colony (took a while to understand how to get inside it) and give it to Pauline. She is comforted and we move onto Dana who wants to get Christopher's attention, she wants antennae from thalluses and elemental clusters from Sylvalum creatures. I attempt to find thalluses but eventually give up. (incomplete)
