Ezekiel promises us that God will send a shepherd who will bring justice by searching for the lost, bringing back the strays, binding up the injured and giving strength to the weak.

Where might you have seen people pushing others out of the way to get something they wanted? Why do people do that? Is that just the way the world works, or do you hope for something better?
Are there any times when you might have behaved like the strong sheep in Ezekiel 34:11-24 – in your relationships? at your school, university, or work? in our church?
How might Ezekiel’s words in this passage give you comfort or hope? Explain why they might do that…
In what ways might Ezekiel’s words warn us? What kind of change do you think God might like to see in us as the result of this warning?
