There's No Way Out in Still Wakes the Deep

Описание к видео There's No Way Out in Still Wakes the Deep

I hate horror games, but I think they have some of the best stories and lore to dig into which sees me frequently having the pants scared off of me in order to experience them. And since I hate myself, I figured why not follow up Soma with another horror game centered around the ocean? Enter Still Wakes the Deep where we're transported all the way back to 1970's, working on an oil rig when, like the dwarves of the Mines of Moria we've drilled too deep and disturbed something that we never should have.

So join me and lend me your strength as we try to find out what's going on and why anyone who comes into contact with this entity turn into monsters beyond your wildest imagination.

About Still Wakes the Deep:
STILL WAKES THE DEEP is a return to the first-person narrative horror genre for The Chinese Room, creator of critically acclaimed games such as Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, and Dear Esther.

You are an offshore oil rig worker, fighting for your life through a vicious storm, perilous surroundings, and the dark, freezing North Sea waters. All lines of communication have been severed. All exits are gone. All that remains is to face the unknowable horror that’s come aboard.

Face a terrifying, unrelenting foe and experience the beauty and ferocity of the sea, as it rips apart one of humanity’s strongest structures and its steadfast crew.

Avoid, distract, and sneak around in your best attempts to survive. You have no weapons, no powers, just your wits and determination. Run, climb, and swim through the flooding corridors and storm-lashed outer decks as you struggle for survival where one wrong step could be your last.
