Chinas bullet trains are amazing, they put other train services to shame not only for their speed and efficiency but for the sheer scale on which they are building them across China. From trains that took days to make a journey at almost walking pace a decade ago to high speed trains that cover huge distances in hours.

Speeds of up to 350 Km per hour and average speeds of 300 KPH are standard.

On board they are clean and well served with liveried staff of hostesses and stewards, cleaning ladies & safety personnel. Its a much better way to travel than by air, especially in China where delays are normal.
