महाराजा मानसिंग स्मृतीस्थळ , अचलपूर Maharaja Mansingh was the son of king Bhagwant Das of Amber or Amer, born in 1950. Man Singh received the title Maha Raja and the 7000 Mansab from Mugal emperor Akbar, which was the maximum command for anyone other than other. He fought many important campaigns for Akbar including Haldighati battle against Maharana Pratap. He was the subhedar (Governer) of Kabul, Bihar, Bengal, Orissa in different period. He build many palaces and Amer fort duing his regime. During Ahmadnagar campaign with khusro, a son of the Mughal emperor Jahangirs, during their return journey, Maharaja Mansingh was died in Achalpur city, which is presently in Maharashtra state. Then rular erected Maharaja Mansing’s Cenotaph at Achalpur near the step well named Mandaleshwar well. This Cenotaph was reconstructed by order of H.H. Maharaja Mansingh II of Jaipur in 1936 AD.
