Dark Ambient Demo using an ELTA Solar 42 Emulator v2

Описание к видео Dark Ambient Demo using an ELTA Solar 42 Emulator v2

In this second iteration of my ELTA Solar 42 emulator I add some extra inputs and outputs to the patch bay that do not exist in the hardware. For this demo patch I ping a pair of Vult Unstabile filters tuned 1 octave apart with the Voice 3 modulator to create a steady menacing bass pulse that is fed into the pair of new external inputs. I also use the new LFO FM inputs to have the LFOs cross subtly modulate each other, so the left/right filter sweeps are organic. As with my v1 demo I use a polyphonic Bernoulli Switch to randomly bring drone voices in and out. The voice 3 drone uses slow amplitude modulation coupled with divided FM and carefully adjusted FM amount to create alternating notes tuned roughly 1 semitone apart. The sequencer drives voices 4 and 5 with the ADSRs in loop mode. Everything is tuned by ear to create a slightly unsettling soundscape.

The visible modules above the patch bay are just used in this demo, and are not part of the emulator. The large majority of the patch that implements the emulator is hidden off screen.
