I show you how to replace the valve cover gaskets on a 3.8 V6 in a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan. This guide also applies to 2001-2007 Grand Caravans. You see how to remove the front valve cover, what to do to install the new components, and what procedure is needed to remove the rear valve cover to get it out of the engine compartment.

Tools needed:
1/4" drive 8mm socket
1/4" drive extension 6-8" long
1/4" ratchet
1/4" drive universal joint/wobble
flashlight
cleaning chemical or spray
electrical tape or similar
Flat head screwdriver or nut driver

Remember, it is up to the mechanic to ensure all components are installed correctly and all fasteners are tightened to specifications. Inspect your work before driving the vehicle!
