Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon (MS-DOS Floppy Version) Walkthrough

Another floppy version! Who would have thought? I ended up getting super lucky and running into another listing on eBay. Don't get too used to this, these versions are hard enough to find as it stands so they won't be a regular thing. Luckily, this time it was the DOS version rather than Macintosh, so you're being spared the ear-bleeding MIDI. Yay!

Now...as for this particular version...it's probably the least interesting of the floppy versions, but still has a lot of neat changes none the less. I say such because...most of it amounts to dialogue being outright removed rather than altered or truncated. There are a few things worth noting, though -- the mice from Kansas are completely absent in this version, for example. The observatory also has two major changes which you can see in the video.

Although this one isn't quite as interesting as the other two floppy versions, it's still worth a look for sure and I'm very pleased to have this rare version in my posession. I will do what I can to find Fatty Bear's floppy version as well, though I make no promises on how long it will be until I find it. Also, it's a bit lower priority since that version has been spread pretty wide across the Internet via abandonware sites and, as a result, is already pretty well known. But nobody said I couldn't try!
