A number of traffic management options were considered for the A944, an extremely busy local and commuter road, but it was agreed that a temporary bridge should be installed.

The temporary bridge gives construction traffic uninterrupted access to the site over the A944 with minimal disruption to the local community and commuters.

A temporary bridge will also be installed on the A96 near the airport, within the next few weeks.
