Blend Door Actuator Replacement in a 1997 Lincoln Town Car

Описание к видео Blend Door Actuator Replacement in a 1997 Lincoln Town Car

In this video I describe how I replaced the blend door actuator in a 1997 Lincoln Town Car. A similar procedure can be used for Mercury Grand Marquis and Ford Crown Victoria. This job took me about 7 hours to complete. I highly recommend having the replacement part ready before you start as well as the ratcheting box-end wrench of 5/16" size. This is a job where you want to allocate plenty of time and do not get in a hurry and it will work out fine. Although I show in the video that I let the steering wheel rest on the seat, after that I decided to prop it up about 2 inches above the seat using a couple of 2x4 scraps just to keep it from smashing the seat. The original actuator lasted for 351,000 miles, so I can't complain too much about that. Good luck with your repair! I hope this video was helpful.
