(STEPS) - Manual Processing Steps and Workflow
✅ 1. Noise Reduction
Highlight your 1–2 seconds of silence, go to Effect, then choose Noise Reduction, click 'Get Noise Profile'. Then select your entire audio, go back, and apply.

✅ 2. High-Pass Filter
Select Effect, then go to High-Pass Filter. I use 100 Hz frequency and -6 dB rolloff.

✅ 3. Legacy Compressor
Select Effect, then choose Legac,y then Compressor. Attack Time: 0.2 | Ratio: 4 | Threshold: -18 dB | Noise Floor: -40. Make sure Normalize is ON, and UsePeak is OFF.

✅ 4.1 Filter Curve EQ (1st Pass – Bass Boost)
We’ll do a subtle low-end cleanup with this one. Frequency range: 100–293.7 Hz. Use a B-spline curve and smooth it slightly.

✅ 4.2 Filter Curve EQ (2nd Pass – Treble Boost)
Next, we’ll clean up the top end and lift some treble. Set it to curve around 1984–5000 Hz.

✅ 6. Normalize
Effect - Normalize. I always apply volume, remove DC offset, and set Peak Level to -1 dB.

✅ 7. Limiter (Legacy)
Limiter helps prevent harsh peaks. I use Hard Limit with Threshold at -4 dB, Gain at 0.

✅ 8. Final Normalize (Optional, but I use it again)
Just to make sure we’re balanced, run Normalize one more time.
