Canon R5C powering issues via USB-C. Has anyone had this issue before?

Описание к видео Canon R5C powering issues via USB-C. Has anyone had this issue before?

I have the Canon R5C and I have been having issues powering it via usb-c with my SmallRig VB99 battery and I have not been able to find a solution or anyone else having the same issue.

The issue that I am having is that when I connect my camera to the SmallRig battery, my camera detects the battery and shows up as USB PD on the screen and the SmallRig battery shows the voltage that is going to the camera.

Then after about 5-10 seconds the camera goes back to the internal camera battery and the SmallRig battery screen goes back to showing the percentage of power that is left and is no longer providing any power to the camera. The SmallRig battery does provide power via D-Tap, which I have been using, but I want my camera to work via USB-C also.

At first I thought it was the SmallRig battery causing the problem so I have replaced that and I am on my third one now and still having the same issue. What makes me even more confused is that I have a Baseus Power Bank, 65W 20000mAh battery bank that I purchased from Amazon and it provides power via USB-C and allows me to film 8k 60fps. I have also tested my camera with a friend of mine who has the same SmallRig VB99 battery that he uses for his R5 and it did not provide power via USB-C. I am so confused as to why the SmallRig battery is not providing power yet my cheaper knock off power bank from Amazon does work, and why is my camera detecting the battery and then not?

I purchased this camera in August 2023 and I have updated firmware version 1.0.5.1. I have spoken to support and B&H photo, Canon and SmallRig and no one has ever heard of this issue or can provide a solution other than sending my camera in for repair, which I would like to avoid. Has anyone ever heard of this happening before/have an idea what's going on?
