Tokai University won the Hakone Ekiden in 2019 and return to the event in 2023-2024 as favourites to place high. In Episode 4 of Ekiden we joined Tokai University for one of their key workouts leading into Ageo City Half Marathon and Ekiden.

The workout: 12km Progressive Tempo: 6km, 3km, 2km, 1km.

東海大学は2019年の箱根駅伝で優勝し、2023年から2024年にかけては上位入賞候補として大会に戻ってくる。駅伝エピソード4では、上尾シティハーフマラソンと駅伝に向けた重要なトレーニングの1つに、東海大学と一緒に参加した。
