This is one of my favorite songs. OoT is one of my all time favorite games, but that goes without saying! It’s a unique title theme because it is emotional and slow - in the best way. This song combined with the title screen visuals is hard for me to watch if I’m not prepared - just so many feelings!

The way I started this out was by importing the original song into my recording software, extending it, and playing along with the original to practice. Over time, I was adding motifs from other OoT songs that could work re-harmonized and it became a medley. I feel like they're little glimpses of what's to come in Link's journey through time. :) Once I chose the songs that worked within the medley, I wrote them on a post it and stuck it to my laptop. It's not necessarily chronological, but neither is OoT. They are:
Kokiri Forest
Lost Woods
Epona's Theme (Lost Woods continued on vocals)
Goron City
Kakariko Village (I've used this in a medley before. It was the second half of the song, and it worked into the first half in this one haha)
Prelude of Light
I coordinated the gameplay video along with the medley as well.

I thought- I'll be very simple with the vocals here, but of course I ended up singing many parts and taking a lot of time on them! But, I wanted them to be quiet and in the background. The song is great in its simplicity, so I wanted them to be subtle.
