Song Story:
This song was born from a beautiful discovery — lyrics left to me by my mother, Mary Lou Untalan, found in an unpublished poetry manuscript. When I came across her words, a melody immediately surfaced. After nearly two years of writer’s block, I sat at the piano and the song poured out in about five minutes.

My mom passed away in 1997, so finding her poetry felt like a gift — a bridge across time. Together, through her words and my music, we created something that speaks to a world still yearning for unity and compassion. I know she would be thrilled to share this message, as am I.

As her favorite necklace from the ’70s said: “Make Love, Not War.”
