FIKSER has launched the new EMotion electric car at CES 2018 which has 400 miles of range, nine minute charging and Tesla Model S rivalling specs.

Fisker has unveiled the EMotion at CES 2018 today at the Quanergy booth.

Quanergy will provide the LiDar sensors for the car’s self-driving features.

The EMotion is an all-electric luxury car that is shaping up to take on the Tesla Model S when it goes on sale later this year.

It has specs that actually match up to the Model S in terms of performance and range which could make it an attractive proposition for those in the market for a high-end EV.

Through levering “solid state” battery technology the car manufacturer has manage to achieve over 400-miles of range out of its 143-kWh lithium-ion battery.

Company CEO Henrik Fisker claims that is has the highest density battery in the world.

Another one of its features is its fast-charging capability.

It will allow drivers to recharged 125-miles in just nine minutes - which is almost the same amount of range as a fully charged Nissan Leaf 2018.

The car is being prepared for autonomous driving and will feature some semi-autonomous features such as lane keeping assist on a motorway.
