Bumi Hills Safari Lodge, Zimbabwe

As most of you probably know by now, Zimbabwe is one of my absolute favourite countries - quite possibly my favourite. And this is in fact all based upon travels in a very limited (but stunning) area of the country. Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park are incredible but there is so much more to explore.

In February I finally got the chance to venture further as we visited African Bush Camps' Bumi Hills Safari Lodge on Lake Kariba - and it did not disappoint. The lodge is spectacular, as is the view from the infinity pool, the restaurant and the rooms. But the wildlife viewing was top-notch as well, even in the green season. More on that in a future video.

Let's start with the accommodation. I shared the Baobab Villa with my buddy and colleague Marcello, we had a room each and shared the lounge area between them. The actual rooms are similar to the other rooms at Bumi so you get a good idea of the standard.
