NOCTURNAL is a German Black/Thrash Metal band from Mainz formed in 2000 as a one-man band by Daniel Cichos after the dissolution of BESTIAL DESECRATION.
At the end of 2000, Cichos met Oliver Grbavac, who became the band's second guitarist and singer.
In mid-2001, singer Andy "Mayhem" and drummer Hellbastard joined the band, which in turn parted ways with Oliver Grbavac, who now plays with FLESHCRAWL.
In 2002, Jex (ex-VEXED) joined NOCTURNAL as second guitarist and Nils "Vomitor" as bassist.
In 2003, the band parted ways with Jex again.
In 2008, Tyrannizer joined the band.

THRASH WITH THE DEVIL is their debut Extended Play originally released in 2002 through Hades Paradise Distribution.
