Today’s trailers about letting you know that upfront this drone does cut the mustard, it certainly takes a great new leap forward in autonomous hand palm launch drones that are so effortless and cleverly designed to analyse the surroundings and follow you a re find you.

the Neo drone retails for AU$299 and I recommend getting an extra battery and just getting a drone itself first up. Down the track you may need to buy the third battery and controller … but this early first setup still works out of the box … a little bit better option than the than fly more kit first off.

Today I tested it in 20 km esaterly winds and into and away from the wind as well as sprint test and the following was observed for an early bonus Advice:

Follow me mode – this was consistent with its recommended and advertised follow speed and person identification and re locating. I got to 32 km/h with the wind and 30 km against the wind and didn’t lose me at all so it works perfectly as a follow me drone for Esk8 / EBoard / one wheel / uni / and electric bikes.

Directional Mode: (front view track) unfortunately, this mode is only limited to possibly walking or slight jog. It doesn’t have the speed in reverse to our allow for a 30 km chase and I found it got to about 15 km before it lost its way.

However, the rest of the Smart intelligence shooting modes or work perfectly :) note without the hadeware RC N3 controller you have a limit of 50 m to 60 m on some of those intelligent Flight modes, with the controller you’ll have a 10 km range but the Battery last only 18 minutes so you only get 3 km out for having to come back.

This drone has a wind rating 4 and is extremely stable with his footage in high wind today.

Today is just a trailer quick test full review to allow tou to purchase the Neo drone quickly … my full test review out in a few weeks.
