Toyota GR86 FAKE Engine Noise & ANNOYING Seatbelt Chime!

👋 In todays video we take a look at two annoying issues with the Toyota GR86! This is also true for the Subaru BRZ! I'm not sure if the Scion FRS or Toyota GT86 are effected, but if you own one of those, it's worth a shot!
So for the first issue, this has to do with the Toyota Chime and the seatbelt. Not only is the chime that Toyota decided to use annoying to hear, but it also gets louder the longer you don't buckle up. Now obviously you need to buckle while driving down the road or in public areas! In the situation I am testing, I'm on private property so this is legal to do. In the Toyota GR86 with the manual, there is no way to stop the noise unless you buckle up or shut the car off. This can be annoying especially when moving the car around the driveway or even right at the edge getting ready to park!
The quick and easy solution for this is to turn on the electronics of the vehicle without stating it up, and buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt as many times as you can within thirty seconds. For me, I did this process 20 times in 20 seconds. That was a super simple way to eliminate problem number one!

Problem number two, which is semi-annoying is the fake engine/exhaust noise that Toyota piped into the car! Now before making this video, I had no idea that was in the Toyota GR86 and by the time that was brought to my attention, I had already installed an aftermarket exhaust. What I also found while filming this video is the fact that this was already unplugged. So not only was it news to me, but I had been driving around thinking it was plugged in, so the previous owner must have not liked it to do this. But either way, that is an easy fix as well and one that can be put back to normal!
If you do this with your vehicle and have a stock exhaust, let me know the sound difference that you heard if there was one at all!!! With my exhaust, I couldn't tell a difference!
