Before you hit the road, make sure your RV is fully dewinterized and road-ready! Here’s a simple checklist to help you get started:

✅ Inspect Your RV’s Exterior – Check the roof, windows, and seals for cracks or leaks. Inspect tires for wear, cracks, and proper inflation.

🔋 Check Your RV Battery – Look for corrosion or damage, then test the voltage and load to ensure it’s holding a charge.

🚰 Flush the Water System – Run fresh water through all faucets to remove antifreeze. Drain and refill your water heater, and sanitize your system to ensure safe drinking water.

🔥 Check Appliances & Systems – Test your propane, fridge, stove, oven, HVAC system, water heater, electrical system, washer/dryer, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors.

⚡ Inspect Your Generator – If you have a solar generator, check the panels for dirt and damage. For a gas generator, inspect the fuel system, change the oil, and run a test.

🩹 Restock Emergency Supplies – Update your first aid kit and RV repair kit. Check expiration dates on medicine, replace used items, and stock up on fresh bottled water and non-perishable food.

📄 Update Your Registration & Insurance – Make sure your paperwork is up to date and stored in an easy-to-access spot in case of emergencies.
