DPHC Stock/DiamondPeak to Merge with Lordstown 🚘! Lordstown Stock Analysis! [Is DPHC Stock a Buy?]

DPHC Stock and Lordstown Motors announced on August 3, 2020 their intentions to merge. In this video I would be discussing about the merger, and analyze Lordstown’s business and DPHC stock.

There has been several private companies looking to go public through a reverse takeover of a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), and Lordstown Motors is no exception. On August 3, 2020, it was announced that DiamondPeak Holdings Corp and Lordstown Motors Corp intends to merge and form Lordstown Motors Corp, resulting Lordstown becoming a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ with the new ticker symbol RIDE. In this video, I’ll be discussing about Lordstown. I will first provide a brief introduction about the company, what they do, and how they earn income, then I will analyze the company qualitatively, followed by a quantitative analysis, looking at the company’s financials and valuation. I will then conclude on whether I think the shares of the company is a buy at its current price and whether I own any shares in this business myself.

Lordstown Motors Corp. is an Ohio-based original equipment manufacturer of light duty fleet vehicles, founded with the purpose of transforming Ohio's Mahoning Valley and Lordstown, Ohio, into the epicenter of electric-vehicle manufacturing. The company owns the Lordstown Assembly Plant where it plans to build the Lordstown Endurance, believed to be the world's first fully-electric pickup truck designed to serve the commercial fleet market.
