The Greek Ambassador Mr. Nikolaos Protonotarios invited Michael Paouris in Syria 🇸🇾, Damascus, for two big concerts at the DAMASCUS OPERA HOUSE.

Two concerts by world renowned Greek Bouzouki soloist-composer Michael Paouris with brilliant vocalist Nikos Kerkenis, in cooperation with an elite group of Syrian musicians, at the Drama Theatre, Damascus Opera House, on February 27-28, 2024, 8:00pm. The 27th Feb was a VIP concert and the second concert 28th Feb was opened for the people with extremely (!) low cost tickets because of the situation in Syria after the war.

Michael Paouris presented a lot of his compositions and two covers. This cover is on Miki's Theodorakis piece "Chartaetoi". Michael Paouris wanted to honor Mikis Theodorakis.

*The University of Music in Damascus awarded Michael Paouris for his achievements and for the teaching that he offered to the students of the string instruments.
