Ingredients:
4x Medium size Potatoes
4x Teaspoon of Salt
1x Teaspoon of White Pepper
1x Large Onion
1x Tablespoon of White Vinegar
500gm of Mince
1x Large Egg
2x Tablespoons of Olive Oil
2x Packets of Beef Roast Gravy
2x Tablespoon of Butter
3x Tablespoon of Milk

Take 4 Medium size potatoes and cut them up into chunks. Add the potato chunks into the casserole. Add 2 teaspoons of salt and 1 teaspoon of white pepper to the casserole. Add warm boiled water to the casserole to cover all the potato chunks with water. Add the lid onto the casserole. Take 1 large onion and cut it up into 4 quarters. Take 1 quarter and finely chop it up. Take 500gm of mince and add the chopped onions to the mince in a mixing bowl. Take 2 teaspoons of salt and add the salt to the bowl. Mix the mince and onions. Add 1 tablespoon of vinegar to the bowl and mix. Take 1 large egg, crack it, and add the cracked egg to the bowl. Mix the egg very well with the mince. Make half a hand palm of meatballs out of the mince. Take 2 tablespoons of olive oil and add it to the skillet. Get your braai up to 200 degrees Celsius of heat and add the skillet and casserole to the braai. Add the meatballs to the skillet when the skillet is warm. Turn the meatballs around every 5 minutes till perfectly cooked. Stir the potatoes every 10 minutes till soft. Take the 3 quarters of large onion and finely chopped it up. Add the chopped onions to a casserole. Take 2 packets of Beef Roast gravy and add it to the casserole. Add the lid back onto the casserole. When the meatballs are ready, remove the meatballs from the braai. The meatballs took me 15 minutes to braai perfectly. Remove the skillet from the braai and add the onion and gravy casserole to the braai. Stir the gravy and onions to mix. Remember to stir the potatoes casserole. Stir the gravy sauce every 3 minutes to make sure it doesn’t get burned. Remove the potato casserole when potatoes are soft. The potatoes took me 45 minutes to cook. Add the meatballs 10 minutes before you serve. Stir the meatballs and gravy sauce to mix. Strain the water from the potatoes and add the potatoes to a mixing bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and 3 tablespoons of milk to the mixing bowl and start to mash the potatoes. Mash the potatoes till smooth. Remove the meatballs and gravy casserole from your braai and serve. This dish took me an hour to make on the braai.
