SOT: She's been an inspiration to me. She was a woman who was a pioneer, who broke down many barriers. She's someone who has always inspired me personally into public service and she spent her whole life fighting for equality, fighting for women's rights, fighting for equal pay and I just hope in my career I can continue on her extraordinary legacy.
SOT: Geraldine will just be remembered by all of us who knew her. I mean from the exultation being there on the floor of the convention when she took the nomination to hearing she had the illness. And in every way she was just a, just a strong, wonderful ... She was both strong and kind and she was historic figure. But she was always down to earth, matter-of-fact.
SOT: Everybody was celebrating the great gutsiness of Geraldine Ferraro. And what she meant to all of us, to women, to American women, women throughout the world and her real understanding. It was a beautiful, beautiful ceremony.
