5 Yngwie Malmsteen Style Licks (Real Quick Lesson)

Here's a quick lesson with 5 licks in the style of Mr. Yngwie J. Malmsteen.

Yngwie Malmsteen is known for his blistering neo-classical shred, and that wall of Marshalls. No wall of Marshalls in this video (just the one head), but I do show you 5 licks in the style of YJM in rapid succesion. No tab to this lesson, as I think it's important to develop your ears as much as possible. Besides, you have the video, which should help quite a bit.

For me, one important moment in my development as a guitarist was watching Yngwie's old REH video. That's when I started to learn Mr. Malmsteen's licks, and also made them a part of my own playing.
