Описание к видео Shoulder Pain and Stiffness Treatment | Best Treatment for Frozen Shoulder

Shoulder Pain and Stiffness Treatment | Best Treatment for Frozen Shoulder #physiotherapy;

Frozen Shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis):

Frozen shoulder is a condition characterized by stiffness, pain, and restricted movement in the shoulder joint. It occurs due to inflammation and thickening of the joint capsule, leading to adhesions that limit mobility.

Stages of Frozen Shoulder:

1. Freezing Stage (Painful Stage) – Gradual onset of pain and stiffness (lasts 6 weeks to 9 months).

2. Frozen Stage (Stiffening Stage) – Pain may decrease, but stiffness worsens (lasts 4 to 6 months).

3. Thawing Stage (Recovery Stage) – Gradual improvement in movement (lasts 6 months to 2 years).

Causes & Risk Factors:

Idiopathic (unknown cause)

Diabetes, thyroid disorders

Prolonged immobilization (e.g., after surgery or injury)

Age (40+ years), more common in females

Treatment Approaches:

Physiotherapy: Stretching, mobilization, strengthening exercises

Medications: Pain relievers (NSAIDs), corticosteroid injections

Other Interventions: Hydrodilatation, manipulation under anesthesia (if severe)

Early diagnosis and guided physiotherapy help in faster recovery.
