Lithium - Tales from the Periodic Table

Описание к видео Lithium - Tales from the Periodic Table

Lithium is the lightest of the "Alkali Metals" which include Sodium, Potassium, Rubidium, and Cesium. They all have only one electron in their outer shell and are therefore highly chemically active. Because of this they are not found as metals in nature, only as chemical compounds. Lithium is used in grease, batteries, ceramics and glass, and as a treatment for depression. It's also an important component in Hydrogen bombs.
