Ferry Flight to the Solomons - MSFS History Missions, Part 1

Описание к видео Ferry Flight to the Solomons - MSFS History Missions, Part 1

In order to pass the time while waiting for the DCS modules "F4U Corsair" and "Marianas Map WW2", we are practicing on our server mostly with the P-47.
And we like reading up on WW2 history in the Pacific as well, reading books and maybe flying warbirds in MSFS in the Pacific. This video might be the beginning of a shorter or longer series on WW2 settings in the Pacific, knowing that MSFS uses a modern model of the earth and some settlements and installations look much different now than they did back then.
So here is the first one, a ferry flight over almost 390 nm across the vast water body of the Solomon Sea, using only era dead-reckoning navigation. No GPS!
