The Humanitarian Centre "Aid + Help" of Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation comes to help the medics and the patients in Donbass. It provides the region’s hospitals with the medicines and the medical equipment, delivers the food for employees and patients. Julia Minshakirova will tell how the doctors survive in the city, where the firings never stop.

New defibrillator will help to start up the stopped heart. And this medical equipment is essential for the patients with burns and missile wounds. For the last few months Donetsk Burns Centre haven’t received neither medicines, nor new equipment from the government. The aid from the Humanitarian Centre "Aid + Help" of Rinat Akhmetov's Foundation rescues the doctors and the patients.

It’s very hard to work, because the water and the electricity often disappear. We’re very grateful to Rinat Akhmetov's Foundation that in difficult, war times like these they’ve helped us with the equipment. The main doctors goal is to treat all the victims delivered to the hospital regardless of who they are, we don’t even ask them.

To survive and to give life to others – a difficult task that faces the Donetsk Regional Maternal and Child's Health Center. It’s head, professor Vladimir Chayka arrived to Kiev for one day to tell how his patients were bearing in the basements and the bomb shelters. And the employees still can’t receive their salaries. The Perinatal Center, where they’re nursing 500 grams babies, survived numerous firings, the power cutoff and the water outage. The Humanitarian Centre helped future moms and doctors by delivering not only medicines, but the food too. The diesel power stations in the hospital started working.

When the lights go out and you’re performing surgery. It’s a delivery! You can’t do this in a candlelight or an ordinary lighting. We received the food for 2 months and the food for pregnant was also delivered. Now I’m asking for gas, because we're helping the whole region.

The Humanitarian Centre "Aid + Help" of Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation supplies with medicines, first-aid kits and medical equipment not only Donetsk hospitals, the aid delivers to other Donbass cities too.
